Any ideas where to get a hair up-do done in Dublin? Or somewhere on the internet that shows you how to do your own since I don't want to break the bank.

they can be very tricky to do on your own hair. not all hairdressers can do upstyles. its kind of an art. takes lots of practice. here are some youtube videos showing you how to do some, you might have a bit of luck with these.

Elenet (wrong spelling I know!!) hairspray is probably the best to use also.
