    Chelsea vs. Arsenal, KO 4.00p.m.

    chelsea.jpgSP0074~Arsenal-Football-Club-Club-Badge-Posters.jpg

This is a big one, and will cap off the second half of a dynamite double bill of football today.
If Chelsea can win today it will push them 13 points ahead of Arsenal, and almost surely end the Gunners hope's of a title bid this season.
If Arsenal can win they reduce the gap to seven and will regain third spot from Villa.
This is a big game for both teams and I'm sure won't be taken lightly.

Arsenal should also be boosted by the possible return of Adebayor, Sagna and Nasri from injury.

Chelsea still have Joe Cole and Alex on the injury list.;)

We always get battered at the Bridge these days so it is hard to envisage an Arsenal win. A draw would be a good result.

C'mon the Arse, if you lose this then your seasons over and I hope Wegner gets that message into his players.

Arsenal really need to win to have any hope of challenging for the league, but I think a draw it the best we can expect. Not solid enough in defence to keep a clean sheet, and not clinical enough in front of goal to put away the chances, I'm quite fearful that we might get thumped today.

A win for us here, and City beat United and suddenly we're in third...
Seven points behind yes, but I'll go to bed a very happy fan tonight if we're in third...

For these reasons alone, I think Arsenal are going to get a result.

In Arsenal's current form they could be seriously embarrassed today.

4-1 Chelsea. (Gallas to score at both ends)

If we have the three lads back the team I'd like to see is:

    Almunia
    Sagna---Djourou---Gallas---Clichy
    Song
    ?Ramsey?---Fab----Denilson--Nasri
    Ade

If eboue is fit then him in instead of Ramsey on the right.

Instead we'll prob have RVP up front with Ade instead of Song in midfield.

I'd rather that. Hate the one man up front job.

Not it's biggest fan myself, especially with diaby to be there for going forward, but playing an anchorman would really help the defence today.

I really don't want Silvestre to play, Anelka will eat him for breakfast if he does...

Actually, who is injured for Arsenal?

Eboue, Rosicky, Eduardo, Toure, Walcott all definitely out for today.

Not so sure about the condition of Diaby, Sagna, Nasri & Adebayor, though.

    Cech
    Bosingwa
    Ivanovic
    Terry
    Cole
    Mikel
    Kalou
    Ballack
    Lampard
    Deco
    Anelka

We really should be up for this game
    Big test for Ivanovic

No Carvalho makes Chelsea's defence three times worse. Adebayour is always mentioned by United defenders as the toughest striker to play against. Gona be a big bloody test.

Arsenal lack width with that team tbh, they are going to try and play through Chelsea and try to score that perfect goal all game. 0-0 draw.
