    While I do enjoy my trade doing FAS gave me a love for maths & electronics.

    Does anyone know if I have to be a mature student to get onto a Electrican Engineering Course & has anyone here done that ?

    no you dont have to be a mature student to do an engineering course, look up the dit site.

    i think you can go into electrical engineering with exemptions

    No you dont have to be a mature student.
    I am a mature student, also a qualified electrician. I am in the final year of an electrical engineering degree in DIT. If you need any info PM me.

    Correct, only a few exemptions is my experience.
