    Okay guys, I hope you can help me out on this one, I took a chance posting this here instead of consumer issues, but if its in wrong section feel free to move it please. BTW, sorry if this is too long.

    Okay i moved out of my parents house in september, went into a new Sky Agent booth in town in early October and signed up, paid my deposit, grand not a bother. A week later my card arrived, so called the agent to tell them i got it, and they said they will let the installer know I've received the card and will call me to arrange an installation, didnt hear anything until a week ago when i went down ( i work most weekdays so its impossible for me to get down there!) and all they said when i told them iv had no installion call or anything was 'Oh Really, when would suit you?' so i told them Wednesday 26th.

    He did come on that date, but didnt install because he said he didnt have the right equipment for the roof. something about the slate. He said he would be back first thing. I took the wednesday off esp, so i asked (begged) my flatmate to stay in and wait. No sign. Called them from work and they said they would be ithere in the afternoon, didnt turn up. I was fuming at this stage and said ill give him a call in the morning. Did that and they said that the van broke down and they would give me a call within the hour. I said im working so if i dont answer just leave a message. They didnt call.

    So right now, all i want is to forget the whole thing. My boyfriend said will till Tuesday and we will see if they show up. But im tempted to take an extra long lunchbreak today and go down and just cancel the whole thing with them and get my deposit back. Or can i ring sky and arrange something with them? even to complain to them about these so called Agents?

    Hi, i work in one of those booths and have had a lot of those complaints. it is actually the engineers fault because he should of had the equipment in the first place. if you get a chance the next time your off work why dont you go down to the booth and say that you never got installed and say the reason why. im sure they can do something about it.

    just keep going back if they dont turn up. they will eventually do something about it..it happened to me about 2 hrs ago!!!:D now there getting it done saturday when they are there!
