    I'd say the G&Ps are, they are the most realistic and the most expensive at about $160. The do the version with the backup iron sights on top and the one with the mini red dot backup sight.

    There's also the G&G one for less than half the price but I don't know if its a standard sight or the proper 4x. I think its a dot sight off hand.

    G&G do both the magnified one and the red dot version, from what ive seen of their optics, the sights are fantastic. they do a lovely susat too.,

    I'm waiting on a G&G SUSAT as it is along with an L85A2, I'll take your word for it.;)

    RSOV do a good 4x one for around €50-€55, by Vanaras.
    Crystal clear, solid and comes with the back-up iron-sights.

    im looking for one of these to and was wandering if you can get a 4x illuminated acog instead of the crosshair

    Or you could have a look at the ones on Ebaybanned or Tactical Gear Depot.

    I've one of these on order and I should have it on Tuesday (customs been holding it for the last week and won't send it out until Monday for some reason) but if its anything like the ELCAN I got off them then its going to be top notch!

    As for your question daz801 I've never seen an illuminated ACOG with magnification but I know CA do an ELCAN thats got magnification and is lit up so there probably is one on RedWolf or Uncompany.

    Same one (I think) from Uncompany - http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=11332 compare both places price inc shipping and see which is cheaper. Should take just under a week to get it from Uncompany, assuming Customs don't ride off into the distance with it!
