    hi,
over the last couple weeks the button on my track pad has started making a noise which suggests its hitting something, like a click, any ideas what it could be? is it something going badly wrong? my years warrantee is out soon

I think it has something to do with the trackpad flexing. I solved it on my macbook by taking out the battery and taping a piece of folded up paper to the underside of the trackpad. The trackpad was then in contact with the battery, thus no more flexing.
