I got one yesterday for 19.99 with the 10 euro voucher listed elsewhere http://www.toys.ie/Special_Offers_Discount.aspx
Not sure if its the offical one its a Gioteck EX-01 Bluetooth Headset, its rechargeable and works fine was playing GTA4 with some friends last night and it worked fine. Good build quality on it so worth the 20 notes.

I rang a couple of places yesterday and today and it would seem that it hasn't been released over in ROI yet. It is most definitely out in the UK, you can even buy it on the game.co.uk website. I might wander in to Smyths for something to do, but I think I'll have to wait

My nokia bluetooth headset works fine. Unless the Sony one is particularly cheap, just get a different headset.

It is 25 euro and it is the best one on the market. I'm not looking for a nokia one, or even a tesco one.

I saw a few in Game on Dawson St last week. I was told they were €40. Mymemory.co.uk have them for £20.95 (Free P&P), but they're out of stock at the moment.

Thats the one. Very difficult to find. I ended up ordering one from Videogameplus.ca Typically, as soon as it arrives, I won't be able to look anywhere without seeing one.

So did you find out if it is in stock in many shops in Ireland yet.. I have been looking online there for a while but no joy

Very hard to find here and in NI. I bought one in Game in Lisburn SC for 24stg. Searched a few stores in and around Lisburn and nobody else had it. That included HMV and Toys R us. Friend has lucked out in Newry also.

It is genuinly very good. Connects easily and you can use it with your phone also in a different mode (if that takes your fancy). Very easy on the ear and comfortable. It seems to have a long battery life between charges.

I asked Gamestop in Newbridge for a possible price and they told me about £45.

Might remain high before Xmas but you can be sure it will drop with competition afterwards when sales have proven very poor in general.

I'm looking to pick one of these up this week in Dublin.

    Any recommended outlets?

I don't want to go online cos I've read that there's been some problems with these, despite the good quality sound etc.

A friend of mine recently got one of these and it has issues, out put volume being too low etc.

A quick google will show that it seems to be a big issues with a hell of a lot of people with it.

Something to do with pairing it with USB instead of bluetooth. Anyway, just a warning.

Just keep a close eye on it though Ferrigan because I thought mine was wroking fine too that is until my friend told me that my volume was too low. Random people you're playing on the net might not tell you.
As a test, go into the accesory settings and speak into the mic. If you have paired the mic via usb and and the volume doesn't go past the blue section then you are having the same problem as me, and alot of other people for that matter.
