We have a tv but we only use it to watch dvds or play the playstation so im a bit confused on whether we're suppossed to have a tv licence for it or not even though we don't have an aerial and therefore obviously as we can't pick up any channels we don't watch tv....so are we supposed to have a licence?? Also i've heard people saying that if you cant pick up the irish channels that you don't need a licence, anyone able to clear this up for me? (tried googling it but can't find an answer)

It also applies if you have a PC with a tuner card, but not if you view internet TV
