If you are invited to a dinner dance and do not have a partner would you:

    A) Bring a friend
    B) Go alone
    C) Bring a boardsie
    D) Decline

Are you fishing for a date? I look smashing in a dress....

Depending on how many people I'm going to know there, I'd tend to go alone. I'd see it as an imposition to ask a friend to get all dressed up for some function that has nothing to do with her. But then, I do know one or two girls who love to get all dressed up at the drop of a hat...

Too true, and sure they only have to say no. I'd've used it as an oppotunity for a date though.

    hehe ill go!!

Uhmmm id bring a friend if there is someone who you think would get on well with the crowd that is going to be there. Otherwise, I would go alone if you think you would be confident enough for that. Id say you would!

Hi all sorry for not replying sooner. I was visiting family in London.

It is the dinner dance for my company so I would know a reasonable amount of people there....

    Ok 440Hz it's a date :p *jokes*
I'm curious though 440Hz, what makes you think I would be confident enough to go alone?

Well just from meeting you, you seem very bubbly and outgoing. Whether it is real or false confidence you come across as the kind of person who would be happy to sit in the middle of a group of strangers and chat away, so from that I'd say if you were with a group of people that you already know that you would be fine!! :)

You must be brave to have included option C in there, unless you a) know a lot of boardsies or b) naively trust that the boardsies you do know are 'normal'.

What was I trying to tell you about trusting people on the internet again :p hehe
