A kind of techno that sways between the polarity of emotional overload and concrete rationale – hence immediacy, which is what Sascha Funke is all about. His releases on Berlins bpitch have seen him fast become one of the most respected techno producers around. Sascha Funke is one of the most representative artists from the German label - Bpitch, releasing tracks since the year 2000. Together with Ellen Allien, the owner, these two have defined the sound of Bpitch Control: dark electro techno. He has also launched many EPs on Michael Mayer’s label Kompakt, and in recent years he remained devoted to BPC, releasing here his first artist album in 2003: Bravo, and over 10 EPs since and more recently his latest album "Mango" and mix cd ‘WATERGATE 02’.
