Freeze Dried Coffee

Hey,

I was wondering if there is somewhere i can get a large variety of freeze dried coffee in dublin rather than the stuff available in supermarkets. A specialist shop or market of some sort would be cool if anyones knows one in the dublin area. Ive been looking but with no luck yet

I think freeze dried keeps its taste longer but i would try ground beans if there was a good selection of it

Only ordered yesterday so it hasn't arrived yet. You can order them pre ground. It would give you a selection with a few bob knocked off into the bargain. Postage to Ireland is approx £7 so worked out about €33 for the lot

I emailed them about the order after I placed it, asking for a selection most suitable to espresso and I had a response at 10.32 this morning. I like their customer service

Scratch that they refunded my payment today as they don't ship to Ireland. Still have great customer service though

When you said freeze dried, I thought you meant instant. Can you buy freeze dried beans?

Well from my limited knowledge of coffee, freeze dried is bascially the same as ground coffee but they say freeze dried holds its flavour longer and it can be stored in the freezer.
But anyway freeze dried/ground im looking for somewhere in dublin were i can get large variety of the stuff

Freeze dried coffee is instant coffee, just another term for it.

I have yet to see freeze dried ground coffee.

If it's instant coffee you want, check your local grocer/supermarket.
If it's real coffee you want, check the sticky at the top of this forum
for suppliers.
