HMV NEWRY PS3 DEAL-GOOD OR BAD ?

    Hello folks

    I thought this was the best deal i could fish out for the kid for xmas ,spotted it in Newry today so bought it

    PS 3 80G WITH 1 CONTROLLER
    PRO EVO 2009
    LITTLE BIG PLANET
    BLU RAY REMOTE CONTROL
    BATMAN DVD

    TOTAL 299.99 STERLING


    Bought another wireless controller for 39.99 sterling.
    I paid cash and works out at about 405 euro thereabout

    Have i done well or could i have sourced the above cheaper

    Very good!!

    You could sell your controller as "new" for 45€ and buy a White one on cdwow.ie

    Hey mate I'm thinking of getting a PS3 at the moment. Do you know if they had any other deals going which included Metal Gear Solid 4 and/or Fifa 09?

    You had to take Little Big Planet with the package but its good for him (he is 8 so will get good crack out of it ) , Fifa 09 was part of the deal also, but they had none in stock so let me pick any other game i wanted.
    As he is footie mad, picked Pro Evo for him.
    The blu ray remote control and Batman blu ray was an added freebie thrown in

    That would have cost clost to €500 in south!! Another reason to be happy about the country eh?

    Sorry for hijacking thread but what is the best deal ppl have seen in south and where??

    Theirs a trusted ebay seller and he has a Ps 3 80gb, Little big Planet, Resistance 2, fFallout 3 and Turning Point Fall of Liberty for €445 incl Postage.

    Thats what Im getting anyway.
