I've heard lots of good things about them but haven't got around to listening to them yet.

They're on my 'to do' list.

I've never heard of them but that is an incredibly lame name for a band :D

They're playing with This Town Needs Guns and Adebisi Shank in Whelan's in February. Have yet to hear them but if they're mixing with that calibre of band they must be decent.

This Town Needs Guns are playing!? Holy FÚCK! I haven't listened too much to their album yet, but on first listen I much prefered the split EP with Cats*3. And with Adebisi Shank on top, bloody hell. You going to that gig, Ekels? I'm already there :D

Hmmm, not really sure. I'd love to do it but it's trying to get to gigs in Dublin from Limerick.
Animals is a bit over-board on the technical proficiency as far as the guitarist is concerned. Otherwise, the vocals are much stronger and the songs are there. Although, there's little to rival Wanna Come Back To My Place and Listem To Some Belle And Sebastian in there. Still haven't heard the Cats and Cats and Cats split. Must be good though.

If you have 'Wanna Come Back To My Place' then I assume you have the extended TTNG EP, all the songs from the split are on that, just I've listened more extensively to the split. The split tracklist is 26 is dancier, if i sit still, 1470 man, it's not true rufus.

The tracks I have I got off emusic. They are: And I'll Tell You for Why, Wanna Come Back To My Place, Hippy Jam Fest, Denial Adams, I'll Forgive You For Throwing That Rock Cos..
I have Wanna Come Back To My Place from the And I'll Tell You for Why single. I really must get my hands on that EP and the split. Really.

PM me your email and I'll send 'em on. The TTNG tracks, anyway - they're much better than the Cats & Cats & Cats tracks (they're the other bands on the split EP).

Oh yeah, meant to say, I've really been getting into Biffy Clyro recently, yevveh. I have Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land and both are awesome. Couldn't say which I prefer.
