***PROBLEMS WITH REGISTRATION***

    Hi!

    I'm writing an article for the next issue of the College View (due out wed 10th Dec!) about the problems many DCU students have been experiencing with registration this year.

    I know a lot of people are having problems recieving emails for classes they are not properly enrolled in, and accessing modules on moodle. I have also heard of people who didnt have credit cards to pay the registration fee online so paid by giro and accidently paid the old registration fee instead of the new higher one because they weren't aware the fees had gone up. They are now being asked to pay the difference AND pay a late fine of about €150. This seems unfair as DCU never informed the students of the price change when the giros were sent out.

    Many student fear that these issue with registration may lead to problems with their exam results etc.
