Hi All,

wondering if you can help me - I have booked tickets for the parents for the Joe Dolan reunion tour in Castlebar on the 14th of Feb.

I have checked all hotels and they are all booked out (apart from lynches - which is an extortionate €185 per night).

Can anyone tell me if there is any nice guesthouses/b&bs that they would recommend....I have tried that Lough Lannagh Holiday Village and they are booked out to..

Thanks a mill

T

1 B&B available for €70 per double room for that night http://www.townandcountry.ie/dsp.hoteldetails.cfm?HotelKey=2470&filter=standard,secret,hot%20deal

Also, Last updated in 1999 but most of these places are still open, so old in fact we now have to 90 in front of the phone number! ="http://www.castlebar.ie/cbraccom.htm"]http://www.castlebar.ie/cbraccom.htm

If that doesnt work try this - Last updated in 1999 but most of these places are still open, so old in fact we now have to 90 in front of the phone number http://www.castlebar.ie/cbraccom.htm]

Try " Devard" on Westport Rd. Tel (094)9023462 or "West Winds", also on Westport Rd. Tel. (094)9026266. Both are well regarded and within walking distance of the theatre, 600m & 350m respectively.

Castlebar is a bit shy on accomodation. If your parents didn't mind a 15min drive I'd recommend they stay over in westport. Lots of hotels and heaps of B&B's. There should be some good value this time of year. http://www.destinationwestport.com/

You could try Moka on Spencer Street which is a pub and resteraunt but also does B&B.
Westport,Breaffy and Newport are not too far for staying in either.

Devard B&B is really nice and friendly place to stay but its not 600m away. Its at least a mile. Why not Days Hotel or the TF Royal Hotel? The both of them are in the same complex as the Theatre.
