    Hey,
Just saw in a news digest a photo of NCAD students protesting the opening of Harry Clarke House, next to the college. Just wondering if anyone knows why they are protesting this?

    Cheers

Maybe they're protesting there, but about something else?

An opening ceremony is a good place to get attention

The Minister of Education was opening the new development of the college, students used it as an chance to protest about the fee's and to get a chance to sit down to talk to him about it. Before the opening, it was essentially a silent protest, with students just pointing at the minister as he walked about his business - I was inside the building, and it was pretty eerie having a couple of hundred students pointing in at one person.
