i'm new to running long distances, played hockey and basketball in school but thats all. i've made a personal goal to run dublin marathon next year.

Thing is i'm 20 and still in school so i can only run twice a week, plus both days at weekend ( works out every otherday+sat/sun). started running ( in september) 2miles a day, 4miles on sat+sun. now increased to 3 miles per session and 5miles at weekends. is that enough?

i know it sounds so meek compared to super-fit runners on here, but i do have a whole year and i wasn't fit at all to start with. ( plus objective no.1 is the LC:o)

Also wondering how young is too young? i think i'm at this stage i should be fully grown so there should be any problems. but just looking for people opinions/
