    Hi,
Im just starting to study for gamsat 2009.
Im going to do it in Limerick.

Now i was just wondering about whether the gamsat results from ireland would allow me to apply to a medicine course in the UK? Ideally i want to study medicine in London.

Does anyone have any advice on this route?

    Thanks guys
    John

As far as I know, yes, you can use your GAMSAT Ireland results to get into med school in any country that recognises GAMSAT, within two years of taking the exam.

Your GAMSAT is of limited use in the UK, and is accepted only by the medical schools in Swansea, Keele, Nottingham, Peninsula and St. George's. It sounds like St. George's is the one for you, as it's in London. Check out UCAS for more details, they have some info on what the colleges might be looking for. It's too late to apply for entry in 2009 now, though, as the UCAS cut-off is in October. Sorry!
