HD TV with PS3

    Hi all

    bought a new HD TV (Samsung) about 6 months ago. but the picture was really poor when playing games on my p2. i was wondering wud i have this problem when i buy the ps3 or is it because the HD TV is too advanced for the ps2?

    What model TV is it? Are you using a RGB SCART cable or the 3 cable to SCART cable that comes with PS2?
    PS2 generally doesn't look very well on HDTV. It would look better on a Plasma compared to LCD due to better scaling but still not great.

    samsung, yea its d 3 cable scart that comes with ps2. tv will be alrite with ps3 i take it?

    PS3 will be fine if you use a HDMI cable.
    If you want to keep playing PS2 games on your HDTV, invest in a RGB SCART cable instead of the composite (worst picture quality possible) that comes with PS2.
