Wht does everyone here think is Hattons next fight and what would be the best fight.
Personally i'd like to see him fight Cotto and not just a money making one against Oscar.

Winner of pac-Oscar is pretty much nailed on.

Cant see him fighting anybody else and he certainly would not fight Cotto imo.

Boxing has gone to the dogs it's more of a circus now.
I'd like to see him fight

    Singwancha.won 60 (KO 34) + lost 2 (KO 1) + drawn 0 = 62
    rounds boxed 415 : KO% 54.84

    or

    Marcos Rene Maidana
    won 25 (KO 24) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 25
    rounds boxed 63 : KO% 96

De la hoya v Hatton would be a very competitive fight, better than your suggestions..

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

Id love to see Hatton facing Pacquiao next.
Both of those guys(Maidana and Singwancha) are good contenders but not quite next in line for the number one in the division. Maidana is fighting for the wba title soon by the way.

I hope pac gets by DLH, even though i dont favour him to. For me its a better fight. Both guys in their prime, similar size, exciting to watch.
Cotto would be a great fight also from a fans point of view but both guys have their own agendas, plus cotto is just too strong i think.
Another reason i want pac to win is that Ricky can fight him at 140. He gives away far too much at 147.

Hatton by his own admission has 2 years left - he's seen the pulling power of De la Hoya & Mayweather, and the money to be earned co-promoting he's looking at the moolah now .. De La Hoya would be my bet .. btw do you think he earned anything decent from his 1st 45 fights ?

I suppose Hatton and De La Hoya is a near cert now. At least it will be a marquee fight, interesting to see will De La Hoya's size be a problem for Hatton?

I wonder will there be any more mention of a Mayweather rematch at Wembley?

Cotto would dispatch Hatton inside five rounds. Anyone wishing to see this fight, who is a fan of Hatton, is making a mistake

I think at a catch weight of 142 it becomes a very interesting fight, but no doubt at 147 Cotto gets a comprehensive victory. Although I sincerly doubt he puts Hatton away in 5 rounds. It took him that long to get rid of Alfonso Gomez and it took him 11 to get rid of Urkal.

Hatton/D La Hoya and Mayweather/Pacquiao - the 2 best pound for pounds goin at it, is the fight of 09. Heard there recently that Hatton pulled $30 million from the Mayweather fight.

This has all the hallmarks of the old Benn/Eubank/Collins/Watson cartel a few years back

well, hatton's punch resistance doesn't seem to be what it once was so at 147 i would not be surprised if Cotto stopped him midway through the fight.
Although, as you say if it was at catchweight Hatton would have a reasonable chance as Cotto is not as convincing at the lower weight.
