Hi all, Anyone have any idea when the results are due out for the last sitting? Sometime soon, I hope?

Anyone have any inside information at all in relation to the results. My nerves are absolutely gone with the thoughts of it. I can't seem to focus on anything else at all. I wish they'd just wait until after christas :mad:

I've heard about 6 dates at this stage so basically anyone who tells you anything is just speculating. I would imagine it will be within the first 2 weeks of December though.

Last year the LS told me it'd be around the 10th of December, but as it turned out I got mine round the 4th or 5th (can't rember exactly when but it was about a week before the scheduled date).

I would treat all estimates as speculation and take them with a grain of salt... however, I was told this evening by a friend that they are posting them out tomorrow.

I have no idea if that is true though.

well make sure to get on and let us all know if anything arrives in the post. If it is this evening and they arrive in the morning I work full time so won't get them until tomorrow night at some stage!! :eek::eek::eek:

I don't see why they would... they aren't exactly forthcoming with lots of information under normal circumstances. The starting date of the next set being just one example.

im pretending its not happeing. Im living in dublin but my results will be going to laois so i'll have an extra wait whenever they come

nothing here either but my training firm told me that it should be this week so we dont have much of a wait anyway!

I feel the exact same. I can't concentrate on anything with the thoughts of them. This is my first time doing for and the wait is just horrific. Please god everyone gets what they want and are able to enjoy their christmas.

i would imagine that they have some inside info as they're a big 5 firm but then the law society are quoting mid dec so no one really knows!

I know, its sadistic! They have no idea how students nationwide are feeling at present! It irritates me that it takes so long to get these results - why they can't post the examination number and result on their website is beyond me!!!

yeah, i got the feeling she was bombarded with calls and was just fobbing me off! Maybe that's just my sceptical side coming out!!!

I'm optimistic that there will be a nice surprise for me when I get home! If I've failed after all my praying over the last few months I swear.......

I hear you!! Working full time - commuting to work for 70 minutes each day, studying at night, attending college from 9-6pm on saturdays! All the homework in between!! It better be worth it!!

Considering their website is updated daily, you would imagine they would post the results online. I mean, as far as I'm aware, the results for the PPC courses are available online..... we live in hope!

the results are being posted tomorrow i was told so we should have then next week and the timetable for the next sitting is going to be on the website this evening apparantly.

I'd say that if they're posting them Friday then we can expect them Tuesday or maybe (if we're lucky) Monday!

Got an e-mail from Independent Colleges saying they are being posted this evening so that is 100% confirmed now.

An Post sometimes deliver on Saturdays in the run up to Christmas... I hope to goodness they don't deliver tomorrow. I think Monday will be a better day for opening - no family about!

Yup they arrived this morning. I am such a child, I knew they were coming and I was there lying in bed until all my family left the house because I wanted to open them on my own. I was absolutely petrified when I was opening them in a way I have never been about other exams - most peculiar.

Anyway, I passed 4 out of the 5 I sat. Most of my friends were only sitting 4 so I just did the fifth one as extra really... although I hadn't expected to fail the one I failed. First time sitting though so can't be too upset.

Passed Company, European Union, Property and Tort, failed Equity.

Passed 4/4....Contract, Equity, Tort and Criminal.
