    Hello all.

I am considering getting a freeview box in my room. Our house has a sky dish and i was wondering if i could just connect the freeview box to the sky dish?

Also, if not what sort of setup do I need to get the box up and running?

Freeview is UK DTT via an aerial and a Freeview box will not work connected up to a satellite dish. If it's the relatively new Freesat you're referring to, then it is possible to connect a Freesat box to a sky dish and get the Freesat channels as it uses the same satellite. If you want both Freesat and Sky a quad LNB will feed both systems from your dish to the respective boxes.
