Hi, sorry it's so early to be talking about Christmas, although looking around, you would think it was December already:)

I have to spend the next few weekends in Dublin with my 3 and half year old son, his daddy is in hospital up there. I want to be able to take him to see Santa whilst we are up in Dublin. Can anyone recommend a really good Santa visit/experience to take him to? I don't mind paying for a good visit, but hate the thought of forking out for a pathetic 2min visit.

    Can anyone help??

I used to love the one in Arnotts as a kid. Brought my nephew last year and it's the same guy!

I remember going into see that dude ~20 years ago.

    Real beard and everything.

I reckon he might actually be the real Santy at this stage.

Is Arnotts still Legoland for Xmas?

Used to love that. Might head in meself if it is.

Wow, I can't believe it's the same dude. Legend.

Santa in the Zoo, botanic Gardens, or on the santa train are all generally good santa trips, though the train is sold out now afaik.

I used to work in the kids section in Arnotts and unless you get there extremly early in the morning the wait can be over 3 hours.

I brought my 5yo to a few last year...Cleary's, Arnotts and the Zoo. Arnotts was the best; best santa, best gift, best lay-out and reasonably priced. Cleary's was the worst...let down by lay-out and therefore atmosphere. The Zoo..."meh" (Daisy's comment).

It was a sad, sad day when Switzers Santa took one in the neck in the name of progress.

Dundrum way well have a fancy pants thing going on and may be worth enquiring. There is a new Hanley's toy shop out there now and they could well be putting on an UberSantaExperienceOnIceWithBellsOn.
