    Hi folks,
Is there anybody in Ireland selling HEC Final tickets? They're available from the UK ticketmaster site, but I am loath to pay £15 for postage of two tickets on top of booking fees.

    Thanks

I'm holding out to buy tickets. The ones available at the moment are absolute muck and according to one or two Munster buddies of mine (who would have a lot more experience in going to Heineken cup finals than me :o) they sell all the sh*te seats first on ticket master incase it's not going to be a sell out, at least they have decent tickets towards the end to try and flog. (and also to fill the corners to make the place look more full if, for example, two French teams get there and it doesn't sell out.)

I have two on the halfway line. I bought them last May.

Not too sure how reliable that info is, I looked at the tickets way back and the ones on sale then were lower tier and around the 22s, which I would class as being good tickets.

I didn't purchase as it looks like if Munster get through then a one day trip for me so I'll use Kilester Travel for travel and tickets.

Feck it, bought mine now so. £99 for 2 tickets. :/

West Stand, Upper Tier, right in the corner. Ah it'll do, at least it's upper tier I'll have a decent enough view!

Gonna go this year regardless of who's playing.

Ditto. Was in a similar position in the millennium this year, and it was perfect. Not sure if the view from the corner is quite as good in Murrayfield though.

I've been up in the top corner in a few grounds in the top tier and from my experience you always get a decent view of everything. Maybe a bit detached from the game and atmosphere than if you were smack bang on the halfway line, but we're not all that lucky. But I'm happy enough, I know if Leinster are there I wont give two flying fu*ks where I am and wont be short of generating any atmosphere myself!! :p

I didn't get mine in Ireland I bought them direct from scottichrugby.org back in May, 4 tickets for £60 each, descent enough seats between the 22 and half way line.

Tickets £254 for 4 tickets + booking fees
Ferry £307 for 4 people + car Larne to Stranraer return
    Lodging £600 for 4 nights
    Total £1161 / 4 = £290 (€341) each

    Munster Winning Priceless :D
