Hi, I've been having a problem of late with iTunes. just wondering if anyone has experienced this...?

When I open iTunes and choose a track, neither double-clicking on the track or clicking on the play icon produces any music.

The track appears as chosen in the header area but doesn't progress.

The only solution seems to be closing and re-opening iTunes but this sometimes needs to be done several times before I get any joy.

Any advice on this would be great.
