    Hey everyone,

just wondering does anyone know much about this diet? i heard that it is a good and balanced diet. takes time to loose weight but it comes off well.

you take a shake but mix it with all fruit [basically making a smoothie] for 2 meals and then you still have a healty meal also.

just wondering if anyone has tried it/done it/good/bad idea?

    thanks!

3 meals a day with 1 being a solid food, just avoid. Its lipotrim/CS repackaged.

Bad idea. A sales rep came round to my house with some of the shakes (around 70 euro a week), very enthusiastic about how it had all you need, low calorie, high protein, etc etc. She didn't know the actual ingredients, which were not in English on the tub. Anyway, I was able to read enough languages to see that sugar was the second ingredient in all the meals/shakes. First was "milk protein". Big surprise for the sales rep!

If you were tempted to try a short term diet based on protein shakes, you'd be much better buying a tub of good quality whey like Optimum Nutrition, and taking it with some essential fats like fish oil and one or two solid meals every day.

    Hi caked Karen,
I did the herbalife diet a few years ago. I found it good to be honest. I had more inch loss than weight loss. I had loads of energy on it and I haven't put the weight on since then. However I have heard that it didn't work for some people.
The only thing is that it is expensive so you need to be serious about having a healthy meal each day and also to incorporate exercise.
I bought my supply from a herbalife distributor and the list of ingredients was on the container in English.
