I read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_coupled_cousins that some people have married their double cousins, what in the name of god is a double cousin??? I can understand half a cousin, but double? Anyone able to explain?

Oh before I get asked, the wiki link was a reply to a post in the PI thread ;)

Ah, I see... well... would you do any of your cousins? Or let them do you for that matter?

    No, of course not.
I was referring to your cousins.

Oh? Jesus, I wouldn't no... not saying that they are ugly, it's just wrong. Social taboo?

Imagine you were with one of your cousins but one of those cousins you haven't seen in years. Or better yet, a cousin you never knew about. What would you do?

It's not a personal issue, it's me seeking information. PI is not to be abused. Also, was your post a joke, sorry if it was I am crap at picking up jokes through text.

    Thanks :)

But wouldn't that mean that your parents would be related in some way? Second cousins, christ that's a big clusterfcuk right there...

    Good work!

Anywho, I'm lost with all this double cousins/2nd cousins/removed/5th cousins sh1t.

We're probably all 5th cousins on this island....... or maybe not.
    I've no idea.

Would be interesting if you could type your name and someone elses into google and find out to what degree you are related.

Maybe they will have that feature in the future...

I know a guy that slept with his cousin by mistake.

He only found out she was his cousin when they met at a wedding a few years later.

    Ouch!

not as bad as the people who marry and have kids and then realise they are brother and sister (seperated at birth obviously)

Double cousins are cousins that are twice as sexy as normal cousins.

Double cousins (seriously) are cousins that share the same 4 grandparents.

For example, two brothers from one family marry two sisters from another family. Their offspring will be double cousins. Get it?
