Taken money from credit card legally binding?

Last Wednesday, TheHut.com issued a voucher code for 20% off using a code (but it excluded certain items - electronics and computing).

Bought a Samsung NC10 for €350.. but tried the voucher code and it was reduced it to €318. Just noticed it's appeared on my credit card statement on AIB Internet Banking now.. but not reflected in my total.

Is this now a legally binding contract? Surely once they take the money from my card, they can't tell me it was a mistake and refund my money and deny my laptop.. right?

Is the transaction completed i.e. does it appear on your statement? If so they have committed themselves.
Sometimes they will authorise the card and then not complete the transaction. Until it appears as a completed transaction you have no contract.

Yeah, they completed the transaction. It's appeared on my statement and updated my balance to reflect the €318 owed - so have it paid!

    Happy days methinks! :D

    Indeed..

Am chuffed as it's gone up to €416 on Elara (excluding shipping) so saved over £100.

The price of it on TheHut.com has also went up since I bought it from £292 to £308.
