Desirability/implications of immortality?

I'm sure it's been done before but since death threads are all the rage, i'm just wondering what people feel about this.
Do you wanna live forever or do you wanna die... eh someday i mean.

And what, in your view, are the implications of immortality- broadly speaking.
Devaluation or increased celebration of life?
Decrease in preoccupation with God-bothering maybe?

And when, if ever, will immortality become an option?
It'd be interesting to hear what boardsies think.

One downside is that the amount I'm paying in life protection on my mortgage would feel a little wasted.

Yes I would love to be immortal.

    Immortal or invincable?

Cause AFAIR you'd only live till about 150 before an accident got you.

Damn right we do, who wants to get all old, wrinkly, fat, bald, sagging boobs, senile, incontinent, smelly............like my boss really :D

I want to have my 21 year old body back with the full head of hair, the strong muscular physique, ability to do it all night long, instead of taking all night to do it :D

Nah, couldn't handle outliving all my loved ones and friends...

Although you could learn to love new people...and make new friends!

But nah, I don't wanna live forever
