Just looking at my newly updated Xbox screen. Looks a bit shit to be honest.

Anyway when I go into a game, there is an option there to "install to hard drive". Anyone know what this does??!!. Can I just install all my games to my hard drive now or something?

i really like the new dashboard

its a big step up from the old blade system(which was fine but come on, this is much better)

installing to hard drive is so that you can play the games on the hard drive instead of the disc(you must have the game in the drive so that they know you own it)

the idea behing this is so that you dont ruin the disc or dvd lens over time and also the noise level drops significantally.

really is a sound proof funtion(excuse the pun).

Sound Thor, thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of install the game to the hard drive and then not have to use the disk!. That would be happy days!.

Thanks for clearing that up for me...
