    Hi All,

I know there are a few threads here about specific CQB type BB guns, etc. But i'm a bit confused...

I've heard some people berate Classic Army, but the prices seem quite high if the quality isn't there. But i'm still ready to consider this if it ticks the boxes and is ok...

I'm a bit stuck between a G&G M4 (or GR16 i think they call it) and a KWA M4 i saw for sale on a website recently, which uses some new battery.

What i'm after is a really kick-ass gun with the best rate of fire and especially range, that i can get.

I'm hoping people with more experience might point me in the right direction, in terms of brands and quality and generally value for what you get, bearing in mind the high rate of fire and range requirements.

    CHeers...

It has to be the KWA with a lipo battery. Hard to beat. G&G are quality as well and with a little bit of tweeking can take the lipo, but for rate of fire it has to be KWA!

I've seen three KWA's and two of them crapped themselves when their owners put lipos in after reading the "lipo ready" claim which doesn't apply to the 90% of the models in Ireland. The other one, incidentally, only ever used 9.6v and is still running fine. The actual lipo ready KWA's are hard to find and costly. Just be wary.

The Classic Army stuff is awful, despite the price. Their older items (2 years back or more) is grand, but anything newer has gone to the dogs without any change in price from when they were still considered a high end company. I'd rate even DBoys above them now, and that's coming from a CA owner.

There are plenty of M4 options, the choice depends on what type you want specifically. G&G, ICS, KA etc all do a big range of M4's. King Arms do a new CQB M4 that comes complete with a lipo battery and charger. ICS do great Armalites and are well known for it. G&G do a great range of M4's including some unusual ones. G&P do a good range with fantastic bodies but the gearboxes can need a bit of love (worth the effort by all accounts).

G&G hands down, they have a good finish, great rate of fire and are reliable.
If your into lipo's richie can rewire them but even standard they are sh1t hot!
