    I going to Australia travelling the East coast for month and then Dubai for a week, my ticket says i need Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio vaccine. thought i'd need HEP or others. if i dont - fine, jst different places sayin diff jabs. need to know what to order into the doctors

    You should already have had all of those vaccines even if you didn't realise it at the time. You may need a booster for them though but worth finding out when the last one you had was as you were probably more interested in other things at the time to notice it, like skiving out of a lesson. ;)

    The DTP jab lasts for eight years immunity. I got one recently and it cost €40 excluding consultation fees. If you're getting hep jab then you need to go six weeks before you travel because you'll need a booster six weeks later and another six months later to ensure you get the longest immunity from it. Altogether expect to pay in excess of €200. Some health insurance plans cover the cost of vaccinations.

    Thanx guys, doc says cause i only goin for month so dont need anything other than DTP. might get a tetanus booster in case i come across hungry dingos :D
