    Hey all!

Ok, I have naturally curly hair, but went in for a trim a while back and got it all chopped off (not what I was looking for but oh well, got to move on, right?). Now it's back to a decent enough length so I'm trying something new with it. Basically I'm drying it, brushing it straight and trying to funk it up a bit.

I know I'm not describing it right, but what I'm looking for is a hiar product I can put in dry hair that goes on pretty much dry (otherwise my hair will curl) and has really good hold, without my hair being locked in place the whole day. I've beenusing one of the l'oreal texturising gum and I like it when I put it in in the morning, but by lunch it's all wilting...

    ANy opinions????

what about putting hair serum and things in your hair before you dry it (ie when its still wet).. works for me

i use body shop define & no frizz brazil nut cream

Does that give any hold though? I'm kind of trying to defy gravity and the natural pull of my hair, do you know what I mean?

Thanks for the advice though. :)

my daughter has thick curly dry hair and i have started to use the best products ever in it. for a treament once a week i use KERASTASE FORCINTENSE. these are expensive in petermarks here so i get them on a website called http://www.lookfantastic.com its a great website, i use it all the time, stuff is much cheaper on it, cheaper than strawberry.net. anyway, for a conditioner i use http://www.lookfantastic.com/hair/kerastase/kerastase-treat-condition/kerastase-oleo-curl-masque-gelee-200ml.html her hair is so different afterwards. i just bought the fudge surf spray. can wait to try that one in her hair.

Are you leaving the curl in your hair or are you looking to keep it straight? And is your hair thick or fine? Im the owner of a difficult barnett so have a LOT of products ;):D

    Thanks for the replys guys!

I don't really have the time or patience to straighten it poker straight, but i do brush it dry while blow-drying. I don't even want it dead straight and pointy... I just kinda want it to go 'up' if you know what I mean?

    Am I making ANY sense?
