theres a place in the stephens green centre in dublin, think its called funky tee..ive bought 3 teeshirts off them..its a small shop but just does teeshirts, kinda vintage/retro styled..they r good value compared to the likes of urban outfitters..i dunno if its new or what but ive never norticed it before, my mate told me about the place..hope that helps!

Retro t shirts aren't cool anymore, but try Urban Outfitters

If you want tshirts that are cool then you'll be hard pressed to find them in dublin I'd imagine. What's wrong with the internet? You can find so much more original stuff there.

thanks cojomo2..i know the stephens green centre but dont know where you are talking about...is it motion picture on the middle floor? I have bought t-shirts there before, they are cheap but the quality is poor..no good after a wash, however they are only 10 euro, but i was after something good quality...

Nope its not motion picture, is Funky Tee...its not far from motion picture, just a couple of shops up from it, after Tribe I think..they are about 30 quid a tee and the quality is good

    no its not

you get around 3 washes out of them and they loose their shape completely. I bought around 4 t-shirts when the place 1st opened, loved their stuff and they're all useless now

and before you as - 40 degree wash, all other t-shirts i have come out fine

Weirdly, Next had a selection of quite funky tees recently (always think of them as doing suiting and "safe" clothes, menswear there is definitely better than womens!), might be worth a look.

really? i got 3 there i have them a good while now, have washed them plenty of times and they are fine, mind you i wash everything at 30 degrees..good value in my opinion and some of their stuff is pretty unique which is important to me..like the idea of wearing something that i wont see on someone else..

BT2 on Grafton Street stocks the junk food retro T-shirts but truffleshuffle.co.uk is probably the best, and hairybaby.com is great for very Irish retro T's. Much better choice buying online.

Isn't that where they sell those kia ora tshirts, or is that A Wear? Guaranteed to be uncool if you were them. FACT.

Ah yes the self-conscious 'look who cool I am' retro t-shirts which are made to look like it's an old shirt from the 80's but has been manugactured just last week by some low pay worker in Thailand.

    Very cool altogether.

[edit]Nope. Don't know where to get any aside from the aforementioned Urban Outfitters.[/edit]

hey comojo2..thanks for that bit of advice..i popped into that place yesterday and got 2 really nice ones..on for my brother and one for me!(didn't know they did girls too)//

like you said its small but what a wonderfrul collection of unique funky (as the name suggests ) t-shirts..

my only complaint however...they dont have a great range of sizes..well for women anyway, im a size 10 so that was fine but a 12 would be ify and they dont have anything for a woman any bigger than that...but all in all im very happy, so thanks!!
