One might think that, as an overshoe, the sizing would be coordinated to cover a specific size - for example, a size 8 Shuella would be designed to cover a size 8 shoe. This is NOT the case. I wear a size 8 shoe, I ordered a size 9 Shuella, just in case, and could only fit the boot over stocking feet. A classic pump (not a even broad-soled boot or platform) would absolutely not fit. Perhaps a tiny stilleto? My guess would be to order approximately 2-3 sizes larger, if available, to properly accommodate your needs. At that point, however, the upper portion of the boot may be too loose and sloppy. Also, for anyone sensitive, there is a strong plastic off-gas scent which would probably dissipate eventually. Good idea in theory, in practice, however, too much of a guessing game.

I was just on the website there. It says the sizes are US sizes, and it provides a conversion chart. So as a size 8 UK/Ireland size, you should have ordered a 10.5 US size.
