Nice one, when I saw that you had replied I presumed you were going to burn me for putting 2008 in the Thread Title.....Damn copying and pasting :)

I wont be able to make this unfortunatley Stephen but I have to fear for the numbers in this as there is alot of alternative tourneys on the day. The regular Wicklow crowd will be up in the Red Cow with Poker Royale.

If it was possible you should delay this by a week or dont expect more than 25 runners.

Cheers for the heads up Eoghan, we will be advertising it on the radio a bit during the week too so should get a few new players in...I can't delay it as no matter when you run a tournament these days you clash with something.

    Stephen,
Have to agree with Eoghan, Poker Royale have a lot of players
in the North Wicklow/ Sth. Dublin area who will be playing their
5k guaranteed in the Red Cow on the same afternoon.
Any other weekend you’d get a lot more players.
Would like to have played this.
    Good luck with it anyway.

If we only get 9 players it means the winner will get 15 points in the league (pretty much guaranteeing a seat in the satellite).....If nothing else this Sunday will be value to those that show up in the Grand :)

    Stephen.

How did this go in the end? Any chance of making it a monthly game?

Only 17 runners so don't think its going ahead anymore which is a great pity as it was really enjoyable and not much happening down here :(
