Mad bit of trivia from this episode. Took from another forum.

During the scene where Miguel stabs Billy Fleeter, there was an accident on the set and Jimmy Smits accidentally used a real knife on Jeff Chase (the actor playing Billy). He was saved by a small piece of acrylic plastic that Smits fortunately hit with the knife.

A TV stuntman is lucky to be alive after actor JIMMY SMITS stabbed him for real during a fight scene for TV show DEXTER.
Smits grabbed a real knife instead of a prop knife during shooting and plunged it into action man Jeff Chase.

You might want to throw spoiler tags on that trivia piece there. Crazy stuff altogether though!

Really enjoyed this episode. I just think Dex is getting too soft for his own good.
An engagement ring? Wtf was he thinking? Now he'll have to buy that new house too, she'll get used to him paying for things.

No actually his sister made him buy it, great ending, how the hell is Dex going to sort this mess his made?

    I think that
Miguel used to bang that lawyer woman and they broke up when he refused to leave his wife and she vowed to kill his career. I think he went round there to get a bit of adrenelin fuelled sex.

    Also, I think that
La Guerta is secretly turning into a lesbian

Best episode of the season by miles though imo.

    Also, also, I think that
Dexter will end up killing Miguel this season for killing someone outside the code, but not lawyer woman.

nope way i see it is this..
King works for miguel. who is conspiring with the defence lawyer, in some way that's not exactly clear yet. and yeah they're banging.
but their very public spats are an act and a distraction.
All of dexters kills lately have been directed by miguel. it has to be of personal interest to him.
season will end with miguel dead. thats for sure. He probably will try to sell dex out some way.
not a bad episode either... was cringing during
    angels voicemail

Very good overall - at least for the Dexter/Miguel part of the story. Still not sure what the deal with the skinner story is (or what purpose it serves), not to mention the Angel storyline...

It's interesting that Harry said exactly the same thing that has been mentioned by various people here on previous episode discussions: Dexter cannot have any friends... Interesting to see Dex essentially openly disregard his father's advice, something which was happening to an effect last season, but not as blatantly as it is this time around.

BTW, a review of the episode online mentioned that the preview for the next one (which is typically shown during the end credits), is completely and utterly spoileriffic - so steer well away if you don't want heavier than usual spoilers apparently...

    1. I'm not sure about spoiler one.
considering that he wanted Dex to get stabby with her a few weeks back

    2. Yeah, I think that makes sense, co-incides with the books anyway.

    3. Yeah he will.
Miguel will kill outside the code and the code will dictate that Dexter must kill Miguel[/code]

    As for the Skinner.
Anton is looking more likely now. I'm not happy about that. I think its lazy to have Deb f*cking 2 killers in 3 years. Much better swerve if Miguel was involved (justice at any cost) or a Quinn/Anton team up
