With Mary Cullen talking about winning a medal, Fagan looking great on the roads and David McCarthy flying over the country in the States, this Euro X is looking very positive from an Irish point of view. I have my flights booked and i'm really looking forward to it. Anybody else heading to Brussels?

Anybody know if this will be televised?

I thought it was supposed to be in Dublin this year or is that a different thing?

Couldn't say for definite, but they usually show a good bit of it. Last year it was on at the time of the event, but some of the races weren't live anyway. Also, I think it was only the senior races that they showed completely from start to finish. The 2009 European Cross-Country Championships are in Santry.

C French O'Carroll will also give a good account of herself in the Junior Ladies. Her early season form is quite impressive considering she missed the track season.

The mens race is going to be fairly tough for Fagan...

Alemayehu Bezabeh, racing for Spain, beat the runner up from last years World XC in a cross country race a few weeks back.
