    Hi All

    What is your opinion of this lens

    Tamron SP AF200-500mm F/5-6.3 Di LD (IF)

    and which one is better

    Sigma APO 50-500mm F4-6.3 EX DG HSM For CANON

    both on sale on adverts at the moment.

    Do either have some sort of image stabilization ? if not you would defo need a tripod for them ...

    I have heard some good things about the Tamron though..

    The Sigma does not have IS and is soft from around 450-500. However I have it and I love it.

    Second the Sigma, I have had some experience of it and given the right conditions it can produce excellent results. Dont confuse it with the latest non-ex OS offerings.
