Although I have yet had to experience an extremely cold day this winter I want to be prepared for when I does come. I am trying to find a pair of long finger gloves for road bike. However everything seems to be bulky, padded and aimed at commuters or mountain biking. Could anyone suggest a pair to me and then at leats I would know hat to look for (perhap the thick padded gloves are what I am looking for!)
    Thanks

BBB do a pair called 'wind shield' which look the job. I saw them in joe dalys, but they didn't have my size in them. I ended up getting the BBB wintershield, on the advice of Dave in there who said they were fine and what he uses. The wintershield are a bit more bulky but I don't see much problems with them to date. supposed to be a bit waterproof than the windshield too which is nice.

I have a pair of Campag Windproof winter gloves.
    About €40.

Windproof (not waterproof) good for temps to -7degrees. Very light.
Gel padding on paml, and grip on the thumb and fore finger.
I like them a lot (apart from the fact that they look like marigold gloves).

I think you need waterproof in this country, if it is cold enough for gloves and it rains you will be fecked without them.

I have sealskinz waterproof gloves. They are mostly waterproof. I've had them a few years now and they are falling apart, but I'll probably buy another pair after this. On cold days, I have a pair of Gore windproof running gloves which I wear under the Sealskinz.
