PSP Remote Play Issue

    Hey Guys,

    After installing to the latest firmware (M33 5.0) I'm having some issues with Remote Play. I can connect to the PS3 via the network but if I try and connect to the net it gives me some crazy error (will post it later). It is setup correctly both on the PSP and the PS3 so the problem doesn't lie there, it's as a result of this latest firmwareI believe.

    Has anyone heard of any problems, experianced this yourself?

    Whats the error code?
    Do you get to the PSN login screen for remote play over internet?
    You definately sure you enabled remote play over internet, not just remote play through PS3?

    Remote play over the internet is enabled. When I select the 'Remote Play by Internet' feature I select my network, the PSP brings up the login screen, I sign in and then it pops up telling me a software update is required. I have the latest update, I'm running 5.00 M33.

    Ahh I see. Sony released PSP 5.02FW last week and don't allow you to sign into PSN without the newest version.
    I shall have to look into a workaround for this and get back to you.

    Are you on 5.00 M33-3? If not, I would upgrade to this as it included fix for the last PSP 5.01FW release.

    I'm on 5.00 M33 (which you kindly helped me with many month ago) as I wasn't able to update the fupper. It usually updates itself to the latest version for me. I guess they'll have a firmware coming for that? If that's the case, then don't worry about it too much ongarite as I don't use Remote Play too often and I can wait a while.

    EDIT - Just updated to 5.00 M33-3 (g'ss that was alot easier than I remember). It now lets me get to the stage where it's logging in but it times out.
