    Is this a good deal:

    50" Sony Bravia Rear Projection TV. 6 months old comes with TV Stand cost 2k will sell for 1k reluctant sell wont fit in my new house :-(

    Also, don't know much about rear projection - is it any good?

    I've seen a couple and generally I found them to be quite poor in comparison to LCD's and Plasmas. Picture was soft lacked contrast and brightness. Iv'e never seen a Sony one though. There quite big as well so its worth checking the dimensions.

    Just thinking about some more. I think sony stopped making RPTV so getting parts might be difficult and expensive i.e bulb replacment
