Have started a new job, but the hours at the moment are only minimal, a booking here, a booking there. It is the job I want, and will build up over time. In the meantime, where might I go to get any kind of menial work to make up the wages, on a part time basis, that will allow me the flexibility to take my bookings when…

In the meantime, where might I go to get any kind of menial work to make up the wages, on a part time basis, that will allow me the flexibility to take my bookings when they are offered? Obviously the job would need to be flexible to allow that. Any job will do, but the shops, etc. seem not to be recruiting at the moment. Any suggestions?
