    Hi there,

We need anisette for cooking some desserts. We have found Sambuca but we actually do not need the whole bottle, specially when it costs 26€. Do you know if there is any shop where you could buy small bottles or concentrates or essences of anisette/Sambuca for cooking?

    Thanks!

If you recipe calls for a liquid, you could infuse some star anise with that. A bag of it costs less than €3 in most asian supermarkets. Otherwise if you require alcohol content in the recipe, throw a few star anise in a jam-jar of vodka for a few days, should do the trick! What's the recipe may I ask?
