    Men
    1st DCU
    2nd UCD
    3rd UL

    Women
    1st DCU
    2nd UCD
    3rd UL
In the mens race while there looked to be a fairly even teams between DCU and UCD the strength of the DCU side was shown it the latter stages of the race and they race out comfortable winners. By he third leg UL managed to take second position from UCD with a strong performance from Rory Cheeser but UCD s final two runners Mark Kirwan and Eoin Hamilton undid the lead and managed to claim second place.

In the womens DCU ran away with the competition as the led from start to finish leaving the other colleges to battle for second spot which like the mens race was secured by UCD leaving UL with their second third place finish of the day

Ye that was a great leg alright. Anyone know what happened to the other sister, she is usually just a couple of seconds behind. Did she fall?

That is super running - if you compare it to the mens times it's pretty fantastic too.

I presume there is a bit of a mix up in the results. I would hazard a guess that some of CFOC time was allocated to RFOC. There is no way there was 2 minutes between them. Was out there watching and im nearly most definetly sure she didnt put 20 odd seconds into Fionualla. I may be wrong though

Did CFC catch Fionnuala and stay with her until the end of the two mile leg? As in the results they crossed the line togather. There may have been a mix up in times at change over. Can see her going sub 10 by the end of college though.

There is a mix up, Fionnuala passed on about 40ish seconds ahead
