    y0 y0 peolpe.

Kinda new to Dublin, or I guess that is a lie.. been here for about 1,5 year.

My problem is that I don't even go out anymore because I just can't find any good clubs that play good music to shake to. And I can't go out and hear pop or even worse some electric gitarre ripping some horrible solo. I respect the music, but it gives me headaches =).

Been listing to hiphop for way to long I guess (way over 20 years). I have my 34th birthday this weekend and want to go out and shake my pretty white ass hehe.

Anybody recommend any good club? Some place that only plays good beats, it doesn't have to be just hiphop, I am totally ok with dancehall and ragga and other styles that makes you wanna jump around.

Please drop a line if you have any good ideas.. PLEASE!!

Help this old hiphop head out.

    peace out
    /c0rn

DJ Flip (ITF World Scratching Champ 2003/2004)
    DJ Rizm (Choice Cuts)

    The Underground
    Kennedys
    Westland Row
    Dublin 2

    Doors 11pm
    Admission ?5

Former World Scratch Champion DJ Flip has taken time out of his hectic European touring schedule to join us for what looks to be another great night. Apart from his seriously impressive DJ CV, Flip has quite a few production credits to his name and has released tracks with artists such as Wordsworth, Foreign Legion & Buck 65. He is quite the showman behind the turntables these days so expect a full on performance!

Joining him is our own DJ Rizm who, when he?s not working hard behind the scenes at Choice Cuts Towers, is a top-notch DJ and a past participant in the Red Bull Music Academy. He was invited to play at the Sonar Festival 2006 at which he recorded a killer mix which can be downloaded here: http://choicecuts.ie/musicvideo/podcast-archive.php?pindex=8

Taking these economy conscious times into account we are keeping the door tax at just ?5 all night!

You will not find better value for such quality anywhere else in the city.

sunday night at the button factory - free reggae / dancehall from 10pm; one of hte best weekly nights out in dublin imo

are you into dubstep at all? we do dubstep / dnb nights in the twisted pepper once a month; next one is our residents christmas bash on the 12th of december, followed by a dubstep special on the 9th of january

also - check out the A$$QUAKE heads; again, it's less hip hop and more "hip hop / baltimore / ragga / grime / dubstep / soca / funky / kuduro etc etc"
