i'm in 2nd year Legal Science, absolutely love it, i only got 51% overall for the year in it and still got it, remember alot of people tun their offer down and the place is given to the next person don on the rankings, if you enjoy it, definately go for it

I wasn't even planning on keeping on legal science until the lecturer asked me to do so. Apparently I came 2nd in the year or something.

It's useful stuff to know and easy enough to get into second year (loads of the people doing it in 1st year are just doing it to keep the parents happy and others just have no interest keeping it on)

I liked it as it offers a bit of leeway: often there is no right and wrong answers so you can argue your case if needs be. The exam questions are ambiguous so you aren't really forced to argue a way that you don't understand. As long as you have the argument skills and cases to back it up you should be fine.

Give it a go anyway, the stuff you learn in 1st year on contract law is always useful to know for the future and if you can't stand the subject or the competitveness of the ones who didn't get the points to do law then you can drop it after 1st year.
