We're planning to build on a utility room & extend the kitchen living area. We have a few ideas on what we would like to do but I would like to get a few drawings done up & speake to someone who would know if what we want to do is feaseable. Don't need full drawings for planning or building but just drawings that would give us an idea of what it would look like. Who should I talk to - is it a job for an architect or a quantity surveyor or someone else. Any advice appreciated.

Contact a local Architectural Technician for advice and sketch scheme.

There are also a number of computer drawing programs, if you feel you could sketch up your ideas. Most programs have free trial periods.
