My friend is looking for something to conceal her tattoo’s for an upcoming work function. She has two tattoos (in that blacky/ grey-y tattoo colour) on her chest. She has fairly dark olivy type skin.

Does anyone have any experience of particular makeup (available in Dublin if possible) which would provide a good cover up of this?

    Thanks
    :D

dermablend is meant to be the best, but i dont think it is available here in ireland and of course depends on your own skin tone.
Try a dry run with your mate with some normal make up and learn as you go?

From watching an episode of LA Ink, Kat Von D (headwrecker) is bringing out a line of make-up partially geared towards this purpose, well I say bringing out, some "industry" people do all the work and she just comes along, puts her name to it and wh*res herself out for money etc, so my advice would be look up Kat Von D Inc. and there may be some info on those products to help out your mate.

Get her to go into brown thomas and ask at the make up counters, they will try different blends and between all the counters they will come up with a method of covering them up and she won't have spent a fortune buying stuff that might not work, they will use the samples and then she can buy what she knows will work, i would recommend a calming cream first, it will even out and give a good base for the final product.

let us know how she gets on

I answered in the other topic you posted about this...

But yeah, Dermablends website (www.dermablend.ie) lists all their stockists, there's 2 places in the city centre that do it I believe.
