Photographer Recommendation (Family Portrait)

Hi,

This is possibly not the right forum, please feel free to move it if so. It may get better visibility elsewhere, I'm not quite sure.

I'm doing some research for a possible christmas present - I'd like to give my parents a gift voucher for a family portrait session. I'm happy to spend a few hundred quid (maybe 2-300), and if possible, I'd love for the voucher to not only include the session cost, but maybe one or two of the prints.

I'm kinda stumped when it comes to finding a photographer though - there seem to be so many, all their galleries seem lovely, and I don't know anyone personally who's had this done recently to give me an opinion.

Can anyone recommend a photographer or studio for something like this? I'd really appreciate some insight into it.

Mark Nixon does some really nice work.

I saw a talk he gave about 18 months ago. He is not cheap but it was well done & very nicely printed.
